"Fight, and fight again, and keep fighting, for only then can evil be kept at bay, though never quite eradicated..."
Is that true? Is there no possibility of a peaceful life for a soldier? Or will it be once again "once a soldier, always a soldier"?
Duo Maxwell is trying to cope with peaceful life. He lives in a small, beat-up, banged-down, and battered "house". It serves its purpose, however. Duo's taking the time to enjoy life's simple pleasures, such as coffee with extra cream and sugars; sunsets when everyone and everything is quiet; and work.
Right now he's on L2, working on his scrap business, which isn't exactly booming, but he isn't failing in it either. Duo wonders how everyone is doing, and wonders if the others are wondering how he's doing.
And then Duo wonders how he can possibly wonder all those things at once.
